Aidan Enders, Director of Field Operations, has been in the Fire/EMS world since a young age. At the age of 12 he joined the Delanson Volunteer Fire Company as a Junior Member and at 14 he joined the Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corps as a support member and started responding at the age of 16 years. Aidan brings a new outlook and vision of the future generation of EMS to the team with his young age. At age 19, he already has almost 7 years of experience in the field.

In 2019, Aidan became one of the first 17 year old EMT-Bs in the State of New York. A few months later Aidan became the first 17 year old EMT-B to work commercially in the Hudson-Mohawk Region, when he was hired by Mohawk Ambulance Service. Aidan continues to gain valuable knowledge of EMS working in the City of Albany for Mohawk Ambulance Service. Aidan is also furthering his education currently attending SUNY Cobleskill for their renowned Paramedic Program.

In May of 2020, Aidan’s work in EMS was recognized when he was selected to receive the Schenectady County Youth EMS Provider of the Year. Aidan also went on to receive the same award at the regional level, Hudson-Mohawk Region Youth EMS Provider of the Year.

Aidan’s leadership role with EMTS NY demonstrates his strength of character, integrity and capability.  As the third in command, Aidan leads projects at special events, trade shows and public outings.  Aidan has demonstrated strong capability and is a visionary for the future in EMS and EMTS NY.

Aidan is on a short term leave from his role at EMTS NY while he studies to become a paramedic.  We are supportive of Aidan and wish him well as he enters his final year of the program at SUNY Cobleskill.
